Budget 2020 committed $60 million over four years to enable changes to supports delivered across the first 1,000 days.
The Ministry of Health partnered with the Southern Initiative for initial co-design work. Stage One is now underway and sets the initiative’s foundations including Te Tiriti partnership governance, undertaking an environmental scan and current state research of early years services.
